Full refurbishment of the existing radiology department to provide 3No. Cardiac Catheter Laboratories, 2No. Interventional Radiology Suites , 1No. Gamma Camera, 2No. X-Ray rooms, 3No. Ultrasounds and a Recovery Ward.  The project was split into multiple phases to ensure the impact on the hospital was minimised as far as possible.

The works included the installation of a new transformer & construction of a new plant room which houses the main LV panel and 5No. Mechanical Ventilation Air Handling units.  ESDP undertook the full design of the building services including general lighting, small power, fire alarms, nurse call, heating, ventilation, comfort cooling, domestic water services, BMS controls and medical gases all in compliance with the current HTM and HBN guidance.

The project involved significant liaison and co-ordination with the project team to ensure a successful project outcome.
