Greensquare Accord

ESDP have worked alongside Greensquare Accord to deliver a number of social housing apartment buildings around the West Midlands.

Using Autodesk’s Revit software, ESDP provided fully co-ordinated services information in 3d along with a traditional 2d drawings package. These schemes included both prefabricated timber and traditional building construction methods, with ESDP providing mechanical and electrical full design duties including summertime over heating analysis.

Apartments were served by their own gas-fired combi-boiler providing heating and hot water and MVHR systems giving the tenant fresh air all year round where overheating analysis dictated. Extract fans were provided to ensure the apartment could meet the summertime criteria.

The apartment electrical design completed by ESDP included lighting, power, fire alarms and communication systems to each a apartment as well as communal area and building mounted external lighting and fire alarms.
