St Mary Magdalene Church PCC

We are delighted to have been part of the design team which helped create this beautiful re-ordering, future-proofing the church for the 21st century and providing the community with improved accessibility, flexible worship space, improved refreshments facilities and additional toilet provision.

A Grade I listed building St Mary Magdalene Church sits at the heart of Tanworth-in-Arden in Warwickshire. ESDP were employed to provide full design duties for the mechanical and electrical services upgrade.

The scheme included replacement of failing parts of the existing heating and utilised traditional cast iron radiators to maintain the character of the space. The improved refreshments facility incorporated 2 new sinks, tea boiler, fridge, oven and hot plate.

This scheme was a real success story winning 2 RIBA Architecture awards and becoming a finalist in the UK Church Architecture awards .
